It's a while since I wrote, but I see no-one has discovered this blog yet.  It you do stumble upon it please add a review of your favourite book.  It's for management books but if you have a non-managekment book in  mind I will start a new section for those.

Maverick by Adam Semler

This is one great book.  It tells the story of Adam Semler who at a young age inherits his fathers company. The company has about 400 employees, it produces mixing equipment (industrial and culinary). After taking over the business Adam starts by sacking most of the directors (his fathers previous colleagues), then he installs rigorous processses.  Sales and efficiency go down.  What he does next will really challenged me and I think it will challenge you!  It's well written, easy reading and a "can't put down" book.  Very highly rated I give it 5 out of 5. Review or Purchase book on Amazon
